Further to my letter of last month, I am delighted to announce the addition of Jimmy Scullion to the IRIS OPSIS team. Jimmy will be your new Business Development Manager, based in Ireland effective immediately.

Formerly Head of Sales with Royal Mail Group in Northern Ireland and prior to that Sales Director with UK Serviced Office Group Regus Plc, Jimmy has an enormous amount of client management experience and enthusiasm.
His immediate goal is to ensure that you are looked after locally and that you have access to current support and training as well as introducing new product innovations from the wider IRIS Legal group where appropriate.

In addition to this, Jimmy is supported by an entirely office based Account Executive team who are available, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm and should be able to help with most initial product or training enquiries, webinars, organising demonstrations and Laserform needs or simply act as the contact point with your account manager. Further Product Investments
Building on many years of OPSIS and IRIS Legal knowledge we are currently investing circa £10m creating a next generation product for solicitors. This new product takes the previous OPSIS investments in “drawbridge” along with heavy investment in IRIS Law (Business) to another level and puts clients at the heart of the law firm. As you will be aware, your clients are becoming more demanding, particularly in terms of transparency of billing and around the clock access to case information. We are therefore focussing our products on addressing their needs in order that you can meet and exceed their expectations and gain a competitive advantage, not to mention repeat business.
Customer Support
There are a couple of ways in which you can contact our support team; these include a dedicated phone line 02890 653006 (NI) and 01 294 2903 (ROI) and also via email at legal.helpdesk@iris.co.uk. It is also worth mentioning that OPSIS clients can now also benefit from our extended opening hours of 8.30am to 6.00pm you should be able to make us aware of a problem even during the busiest times.
Client Portal
We have recently launched our new online Client Portal which is going from strength to strength. This community area now has over 1000 users who are taking advantage of the information and self help that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are not yet a member, please email legalportaladmin@IRIS.co.uk and register so that you can take advantage of the following facilities;
- Searchable knowledge base by product– search the IRIS Legal knowledge base and find answers quickly to many common support questions for your IRIS product
- Frequently Asked Questions – gain instant access to valuable information covering a range of popular topics with our FAQ library
- Information on current issues such as the VAT rate change, user guides, release notes and roadmap information
- Information bulletins, training schedules and support documentation such as service level agreements, hints & tips
- Contact details – for support, account manager etc
