Millennium Accounts V5.75.0
The Millennium Accounts release of 5.75.0 primarily contains major Legal Aid changes valid from 1st June 2009.
You will probably have received notification of this directly from the LSC (OPSIS are not responsible for supplying this information).
Below is the relevant information from the release notes:-
The following information has been supplied by the LSC and is accurate at the time of inclusion. Please refer to the LSC website for the most up to date information.
These will follow the same approach that has been used in previous updates to LSC Online where the changes are implemented on a single switch over date.
This will be over night on the 31st May 2009, with the new functionality in place on 1st June 2009.
All submissions submitted and APPROVED by LSC Online prior to the switch over date will be accepted using the current arrangements. After this date (1/6/2009) all outcomes reported will have to adhere to the new reporting and validation arrangements regardless of when the work was started, completed or the submission month it is included in. This will include work entered into LSC Online but not yet in a status of APPROVED (i.e it is has not yet been accepted by the LSC and therefore can still be updated by the supplier).
Legal Aid Enhancements:
Civil Billing - Mental Health Meeting Codes:
A new set of meeting codes, for Mental Health cases, are available which replace the existing LSC codes and must be used for submissions from 01/06/2009 onwards. The new meeting codes begin with MTGA. e.g. “MTGA01 - No meetings attended.” Any bills already posted using the old meeting codes, but not yet submitted, must be amended to use the new meeting codes using the Bill Legal Aid Claim Detail screen prior to bulk load submission or they risk rejection.
Civil Billing - Controlled Legal Representation:
There is additional mandatory data required from all immigration/asylum providers in relation to how many times Controlled Legal Representation was granted in the month, how many times it was refused and how many times CLR was withdrawn. It is mandatory that all immigration providers supply this data. You can enter this information from the LSC Online Bulk Load screen.
Please refer to the LSC website or contact the LSC directly for the most up to date information.

As promised in a previous blog post, and long overdue, the new seperate and dedicated OPSIS Ireland Sales website is at last finished, and can be viewed at http://www.opsisltd.ie. The Ireland website was originally planned as part of our internet domain and website reorganisation more than a year ago, but for various reasons took a little longer than expected.
Besides providing important company and contact information for customers in Northern ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man, the site provides details about the main differences of our products when configured for use in the North or South of Ireland.
There are extended Testimonials and Case Study sections based on a variety of existing customer installations.
Customer service is provided by the normal route via the UK & Ireland Support and Helpdesk website which can be found at http://support.opsisltd.co.uk.
We hope our prospects and customers will find the new dedicated Ireland website useful, and we welcome any feedback on its content.

Changes affect:-
The new look OPSIS web sites went live on Monday 16th March to coincide with the move of the UK Stamford office to Grantham.
This post is to tell you a little bit more about the web sites, and how to use them.
The main difference that customers familiar with our old website should understand is that the OPSIS domain names now split off into separate web sites (before if you went to opsisltd.com you would automatically get forwarded to opsisltd.co.uk, but now there is a proper website at opsisltd.com), so we now have:-
Hopefully this re-organisation makes things clearer and easier to find by keeping Sales and Support distinct and separate from each other.
Each new website has two main navigation areas. The blue menu at the top of every page provides the main site navigation, with the main pages on the top (blue), and sub-sections within each page on the bottom (grey):-
After selecting a particular main menu option, and that page appears, the main content is displayed in the lower half of the page.
Also a side-bar menu appears at the left-hand side which allows sub-section selections to be made.
Selecting an option on this menu will display the relevant information within the scrollable centre section of the page.

Example of Sidebar Menu
For commonly accessed items there is a Quick Links shortcut menu at the top-right of all pages. Click the Quick Links link, and its menu will pop-open, allowing you to jump immediately to frequently used resources.
You will also notice two other links at the top that allow you to quickly jump from one website to another, for example to jump out of the Corporate website, into the UK Sales or Support websites, depending on your requirements.

Quick Links Menu

Search Box
The Search feature within the web site has been completely overhauled and allows easy searching for pages, and other items such as Adobe PDF documents contained within each web site. Note that you need to be in the correct website for a particular search. For instance you will need to perform a search in the Support website to find PDF documents relating to product resources like manuals and helpsheets.
The new websites are printer-friendly.

Print Page button
Use the Print Page button near the bottom of the main page content scrollable section, or choose the File->Print… menu option in your browser to print out any page of the website.
The page layout and content, has been designed to print properly and will omit any un-necessary menu navigation bars, sidebars and graphics, so as to print nicely without wasting paper.
After careful research of the usage statistics of visitors to our websites we decided to design the websites for viewing on a minimum screen resolution of 1024×768.
New LCD-display computer screens with higher resolutions are becoming very popular nowadays, and many people find they can work much better, and with more applications on their desktop, far more easily by using a display resolution setting of 1024×768 or greater.
If you have any suggestions or comments on the new web sites, please either Leave a Comment on this news article, or use the Feedback Form on the OPSIS Website to tell us what you think.
